Colleagues, past presidents, presidents to be:
A number of us have had discussions regarding some of the very basics of presentation regarding our ever-growing advocacy organization. In particular (1) organizational logo and (2) organizational name.
Various issues have been presented by the constituency to the regional representatives, including: "The logo is old style, old colors, what does it mean?", as well as "ISACCD is difficult to say," "Why are there two c's next to each other?" and "Do we take care of patients with ACCD or ACHD?"
To address these issues, the current executive went on an expedition, and landed on the doorsteps of the Alday family, where a spectacular designer arrived at a conglomerate of ideas regarding the old logo. Various iterations were presented, and the executive voted several times and had unanimous approval of the following:

Likewise, there was unanimous approval regarding organizational Name "revision" from ISACCD to ISACHD, or International Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ISACHD), which can be shortened to International Society for ACHD.
In addition, all the executive have pledged, as has been done before, to use the ISACHD logo on slides, presentations, etc, when they present, as they recognize that they are representatives of ISACHD wherever they may be, while they are on the executive.
Our increasing internationalism is recognized across the globe, and the current executive and our constituency owe this to each and every one of our predecessors.
Our very best,
Mike Landzberg
For the ISACHD Executive
